There is no doubt my Bodhran Playing is pretty unique (not at all traditional)
Well here's the thing! for years people have been asking me if i do guitar lessons and more recently do I do Bodhran lessons and, the answer has always been no!
But NOW! I have a recording studio and the facility not only to teach but, to enlighten people into the world of music and how it all works.
I do not profess to be a teacher by any standard but, I do have 25 years of experience in the business (god I feel old)
SO! Rather than jumping in at the deep end and saying 'Ye I'll teach you' I spent a good deal of time learning the best method for teaching 'Guitar' or any other instrument.
If you are a complete beginner, I will have you playing a tune people will recognize in just a few lessons.
Private Lessons
As my student, you receive a weekly, one-hour private lesson on your primary instrument to match your personal style and level. I will work with you in the areas of your choice, guiding you during your program while also providing you with enough information and inspiration to keep you working long after you leave.
In my research on the Internet I have found that there is a great deal of free information, guitar lessons, tips, guitar tabs and articles regarding guitar playing. Most of it quite valid I would say. However, for the most part, the novice can't benefit from this free information because much of the time each article/guitar lesson relates to other aspects of guitar playing they haven't yet covered. It's all too scattered. As time goes on there will of course be plenty of free stuff here too but I always recommend a complete method or course relating to a specific aspect of guitar playing, covered in detail.
